Tanzania is one of the larger countries located Eastern Africa. Part of it lies in Southern Africa and Kilimanjaro, Africa's highest mountain, is in northeastern Tanzania. Tanzania is known as a very diverse country, containing many different peoples of other cultures, ethnic groups and religious groups. It is accepting of people of other places with open arms and serves to show the attractions that they have to offer. The capital city is called Dodoma.
This mountain is located by the north of the city of Arusha. It is the second highest mountain in Tanzania after Mount Kilimanjaro. It is the topographic centerpiece of Arusha National Park and fertile slopes rise above the surrounding savanna to support a forest that hosts diverse wildlife. There are nearly 400 species of birds, monkey and leopards. It’s a perfect place to hike.

A shopping mall that offers a variety of things and is perfect for travelers. It has good quality things and the staff are all courteous. They have many stores from brand names to normal stores. They also have a dining area on the ground floor.

A restaurant located within Dodoma hotel, it serves Chinese dishes that are rightly priced. The atmosphere is that of a fine dining restaurant and the staff is friendly. They are popular among tourists.

Ugali
A stiff dough dish that can be made from cornmeal, cassava flour or millet, this can be considered as Tanzania’s national meal. It’s usually eaten in a large bowl and served with meat, vegetables or fish.
Nyama Choma
Translating to grilled meat, it’s a barbeque of meat, fish or chicken with barbeque bananas as a side dish. It is prepared by slow roasting on a grill to better make the dish taste incredible.
Mchemsho
This is a trouper dish that is delicious but not usually eaten due to the high cost of the ingredients. It includes vegetables such as carrots, peas, potatoes, cabbage, eggplant etc. It can be made with fish or meat.
Sipe Cafeteria
An Italian restaurant that serves great pasta and is located near Dodoma Hotel. Their dishes are priced right and their interiors is more quaint and simple. Their ice cream is also said to be good.

Tanzania was formed formally in 1964 and out of the union of the larger mainland of Tanganyika and the archipelago of Zanzibar. From the 1880s to 1919, it became a British mandate then served as a military outpost during World War. In 1947, Tanganyika became a United Nations Trust Territory until its independence in 1961. It became a British Protectorate before gaining its freedom and becoming what it is now.
