More of a sit in pub rather than a dance club, it makes itself stand out with its food options and great music tastes. With music playing throughout the night and staff serving you, you can easily pass the time with friends as you indulge in drinking.
It’s one of the most talked of clubs in Yerevan. With large interiors and a dance floor, there are no limits on guests and it also offers a great list of alcoholic drink options. There are DJs for each night and sometime even performances by bands.
Though it doesn’t have a large enough dance floor, it is still considered to be one of the best clubs in the capital. With great music and live band performances, it stands out for their accommodating staff and range of food options along with the drinks.
In terms of safety, though the crime rate is low, there are the occasional news of pickpocketing and bag snatching. It is advised to not have all important documents such as passport, money or valuables on one self at the same time. Keep some spare cash separately so that there are no problems later on. It is also advised not to share any personal information with strangers by accident.
Travel can pose a safety risk as the driving laws are lax and so there can be reckless drivers on the road.
It is advised to be vaccinated before you visit Armenia due to poor medical facilities. The usual vaccinations for yellow fever, diphtheria, hepatitis A should be taken and preventive medical should be carried in case. Though facilities in Yerevan are passable, it’s risky out of the city.
Armenia was originally named Hayk and it was later named Armenia by the surrounding countries. It was derived from the name of the great grandson of the Haik King. In the Bronze Age, several states flourished in the area. Each of the aforementioned nations and tribes participated in the ethnogenesis of the Armenian people. The capital dates back to the 8th century.
The Iron Age Kingdom of Urarty was replaced by the Orontid dynasty and later gave rise to the Kingdom of Armenia. After a few hundred years of kingdom rule, it came under the Persian rule in the 16th century and remained until 19th century when it was conquered by the Russians.
In the early 20th century, Armenians suffered genocide from the Ottoman government and 1.5 Armenians were dispersed. Finally in 1918, they gained independence and established the First Replublic of Armenia and then the Republic of Armenia in 1991.
